MINI BOGA established her furniture brand Taaru in New Delhi in the mid-20th century, a time when there was little modern design in India. Her simple forms are solid and have a softness and grace similar to contemporaneous Brazilian design. Inspired by craft traditions, her designs take on a functionalist and minimalist approach.
