MARIA BRUUN + ANNE DORTHE VESTER are a Danish duo who have created a three-piece series of benches and stools for our If It's a Chair exhibition in 2016, taking up the same materials as their previous project, “Objects of Use”. Smoked oak, brass, and stoneware constitute the pieces that at first hand resemble furniture, but are much more than that.
