CASSIE GRIFFIN is a Brooklyn-based ceramicist who uses the process of throwing to develop ever-changing objects, pushing clay to its physical limit and often embracing the moment at which the material collapses. Patrick Parrish Gallery has exhibited Griffin's simple raw-porcelain vases alongside her work that was informed by her experiments at the Thun Ceramic Residency in Bolzano, Italy.
