Michael Fink

MICHAEL FINK (1993) is an Italian painter who specializes mainly in oil painting. In 2017 he moved to Berlin to start his studies at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee with Prof. Nader Ahriman and Prof. Friederike Feldmann in 2018 and is still studying. Fink's work has been exhibited internationally in Germany, Italy, the U.S., and England.

On his process, Fink notes: “I am drawn to spirals, swirls, and circles – shapes found in cultures around the world and in the micro and macro patterns of The Universe. I also draw inspiration from my natural surroundings as well as my experiences growing up in Ventura County, California, and my years living in Andalucia, Spain. Painting for me is not only about the result, but the process. I usually start with an idea or a general intention. Ideally, I work from a place of stillness, having faith in and yielding to what seems natural – not thinking too far ahead. My highest aim is for my work to be a portal, for myself and others, to connect, reveal and channel the Flow of Life. I would also like to take this space to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported my art and artistic endeavors”.
